It's easy to live a Flexible Life
..with Medtronic Insulin Pump Therapy

Benefits for insulin pumps are currently only available via Private Health Insurance.

If you are not a member of a health fund you may wish to pay for a pump yourself. In this case, prior to purchasing your pump we require confirmation from your doctor that you are suitable for pump therapy. Training will then need to be arranged with either a Diabetes Educator or with a Medtronic representative.

To ensure delivery of your pump by the date of your scheduled training, we require two weeks notice so that invoicing and payment arrangements can be completed prior to delivery of the pump and training commencing.

MEDTRONIC MINIMED PUMPS COME WITH A 4-YEAR WARRANTY

Should there be medical reasons for you to discontinue pump therapy, there is a 30 day 'money back' guarantee.

Transmitter and sensors for the Paradigm Real-Time System

The transmitter and the sensors can be purchased directly from Medtronic.

You may be eligible for a tax offset of 20 percent (20 cents in the dollar) of your net medical expenses over $1,500. There is no upper limit on the amount that can be claimed. Net medical expenses are the medical expenses you have paid less any refunds you receive, or could receive, from Medicare or a private health fund. You may be able to claim expenses relating to most illnesses or operations paid to legally qualified doctors, nurses, or chemists and public or private hospitals.
