Easy Insertion
Our pump users told us they wanted an easier way to insert the cannula under their skin, so we came up with Serters – our exclusive, auto-insertion devices. Medtronic Diabetes serter devices can make inserting your cannula as easy as pressing a button, and help ensure that you can quickly insert your cannula at a more consistent depth, in turn helping promote more predictable insulin absorption.
Serters can be used with the Medtronic Silhouette™, Quick-set™, and mio® infusion set ranges.
The Sure-T® infusion set range requires manual insertion. Of course, you can manually insert all infusion sets if you wish – the choice is yours!
Easy Disconnection
Disconnecting your infusion set to take a shower or change clothes has never been easier. If you use a Medtronic Silhouette, Quick-set or mio infusion set, you can enjoy easy at-site disconnection via a simple press-turn or press-pull motion, while the Sure-T infusion set’s longer tubing allows for easy disconnection away from the insertion site (great for kids!).
