Why should I use Medtronic CareLink® Personal software?
Understanding the effects of insulin dosage, eating habits, exercise routines, and medication on glucose levels is the key to improving your diabetes control. Seeing this cause-and-effect relationship in chart, graph and table formats allows you to better identify patterns and problems that can help you figure out the cause of your low and high blood glucose levels. With Medtronic CareLink® Personal software, you can work with your healthcare provider to maximise your therapy and reach your individual goals.

Is my medical and personal information secure?
The Medtronic CareLink® Personal system uses Secure Sockets Layer (SSL), a data encryption technology that ensures your data is uncompromised during transfer.
Storing data in Medtronic CareLink® Personal software may be safer than storing it on a home computer system that is connected to the internet. We use a three-tier system that stores the data behind three separate firewalls.
How long does it take to upload data?
Frequent data uploading (i.e. every two to four weeks) will provide uploads in about two to four minutes, depending on how often you’ve used your insulin pump and CGM features.
Can I make adjustments to my insulin pump within Medtronic CareLink® Personal software?
No, adjustments to your Medtronic device or blood glucose meter cannot be made within the Medtronic CareLink® Personal software. We recommend you consult your healthcare provider before making any changes to your therapy.
How do I create reports?
From the main Reports page, select a report from the menu on the left-hand side of the screen. Select the date or date range for the report and click on Go. Your report is displayed as a PDF file in a separate window, which you can then print or save to your computer.
